Meteor Chronicles

An ordinary boy unexpectedly inherits a supreme treasure of the universe; a friend's betrayal sets the stage for Earth's survival.

The frail young He Quanxian should have lived a lazy, ordinary life. Then one day, his training-class teacher, Zhu Nuoye, places a box containing a “Cosmic Crystal” before him, and the truth of the world crashes open. While trying to protect his close friend Han Zihan, he accidentally activates the most unusual “Meteorite Stone” and becomes a Meteorite Controller, only to witness the cold betrayal of his friend Xuan Tianhao.

The battle is no longer a game. It becomes a fight for survival that engulfs the entire world. But after He Quanxian and his companions endure sacrifice after sacrifice and finally defeat the enemy they thought was the ultimate threat, they discover in despair an ancient terror lurking behind it all, one capable of devouring stars: the “Black Insect.” Their teacher's downfall, his father's madness, and his friend's sacrifice all stem from a cruel scheme spanning a thousand years.

Earth is merely a “failing student” that fell behind in the examination of cosmic civilizations. The millennium pact is about to expire, and hostile extraterrestrial forces are closing in. He Quanxian must grow stronger faster and join his companions in surpassing the limits of the “universe.”

This is an interstellar epic about three boys joining hands in the face of despair, fighting their way toward salvation for tiny Earth amid betrayal and protection, hopelessness and hope.
