"The Hunan Army in the Late Qing Dynasty: The Bloody Blade Taiping Army": Jiang Zhongyuan (also known as Chang Ru) was the commander of the Hunan Army and led his army to besiege Jiujiang City occupied by the Taiping Army. The Taiping Army dug tunnels in the city and prepared to blow down the city wall. After Jiang Zhongyuan noticed it, he also sent people to dig tunnels to fight, and personally led his troops to set up defenses on the inside of the city wall, and launched "bunker warfare" and "street fighting" with the Taiping Army.
