If I Don’t Become President, I’ll Have to Go Home and Inherit the Oil Fields

Office drone Chen Mo is reborn in a parallel world as the president of Atala, a small country in the Middle East. Before he can celebrate, he discovers he has inherited a complete disaster: a hundred-billion debt, warlords everywhere, and hostile neighbors watching closely. Even more absurdly, he got the presidency as the result of a bet with his family. If he can’t turn Atala around within a year, he’ll have to honor the wager and go home to inherit the family’s trillion-dollar oil empire, rich enough to rival a nation’s wealth! For the sake of his freedom, Chen Mo is forced to launch a fantastical entrepreneurial venture, using modern business and internet thinking to push a country through an extreme makeover.
