The Year I Plotted Against Her: I Will Never Love You

Content warning: One woman, two men. The heroine isn't a great beauty, and she's a bit difficult, but she's always wanted both men, made that perfectly clear, and ended up with them both.

The two male leads are equally clear about what they want.

One woman, two men + lovesick male leads + [a childhood friend who has protected her for years, possessive, controlling, and unhealthy] + [a prize stolen from an enemy, a neat freak who is nevertheless attracted to the heroine]

When faced with a choice between two, Lu Zhiyu keeps them both.

Blurb

Lu Zhiyu: “From beginning to end, you two were the ones who came to me. One of you used an engagement and resources to tie me down, while the other kept me dangling with guilt and compensation. Nobody forced you to do anything.”

“I'm just greedy. I want you, and I want him. I can't choose between you, and I don't want to.”

On the subject of exclusivity, President Wen says: “How could I keep a woman who has room in her heart for two people and still longs for her ‘white moonlight’ if I weren't possessive?”

“Getting engaged is the only condition for me to stay by your side. I want a title, and the assurance that will let me believe you won't leave at any moment.”

On being the other woman, President Jiang says: “I can accept that he's in the picture, but I won't be your ‘mistress,’ and I certainly won't let him support me.”

“You're mine. You were, you are, and you always will be.”

Then he declares war on President Wen: “We'll each use our own abilities to stay by her side. Neither of us gets to have her all to himself.”

[Redemption + growth + both male leads are lovesick + older men]

The two male leads have been friends for years: one is a possessive, controlling, fatherly “older brother,” while the other is a neat freak and the heroine's former teacher, now her “ex-boyfriend.”
