(Qing Dynasty transmigration + beloved by all + household intrigue + political power struggles)
Yunjia was a child with a physical disability, forgotten at an orphanage. On her sixth birthday, she carefully made a wish before the candles.
When she woke up, she had arrived in the Qing Dynasty, hundreds of years in the past. She was now in Minzhu's womb, reborn as the well-behaved Niu Ruhe, cherished by her parents.
The Fourth Prince, who never smiled, could be gentle as he recited poetry to his daughter. He prepared gifts with care, taught her to write and ride, and watched her grow up.
Three-year-old Niu Ruhe got up one morning and ran on her little legs to her parents' bedside. She lifted the curtain, spotted her father's shaved head with its crescent-shaped queue, and reached out to touch it. "Father, time to get up!"
Yinzhen opened his eyes, his face dark with exasperation. The older she got, the naughtier she became. But when he saw Niu Ruhe's bright, sparkling eyes, he couldn't bring himself to scold her. "Father's up. Go check on Hongfen first."
Minzhu never expected to end up in the Fourth Prince's household, but since she was there, she made the best of it. The Fourth Prince treated her very well.
She had thought she would spend her whole life like that. But before she gave birth, the Fourth Prince gently stroked her belly and told her not to be afraid. He took her with him on a trip south of the Yangtze, wrote her letter after letter, and always believed in her.
They had a daughter, Niu Ruhe, and several sons. Niu Ruhe was so sweet and sensible that she argued with the principal wife for her mother's sake, gave the Fourth Prince the cold shoulder, stayed by her mother, and always took her side.
Minzhu felt truly happy.
Minzhu's storyline focuses on household intrigue and romance, with her eventually receiving all his devotion. Niu Ruhe's storyline focuses on being adored by all, with a little of the struggle among the Nine Princes for the throne.
Please forgive the not-so-great blurb. I hope you'll give the novel a chance and read a few chapters.
