Kuriyama’s girlhood came to an abrupt end when news arrived that her older sister had died.
She joined the Demon Slayer Corps and lived next door to a boy named Giyu Tomioka. His cold, reserved nature kept her at a distance, but his gentle strength drew her close.
As time passed, her feelings grew, and Kuriyama realized she liked him. Yet she didn’t dare ask whether Giyu liked her, too.
The colors on his two-tone haori preserve the traces of his closest friend and her older sister.
Against that, Kuriyama, who meant nothing to him, could only silently stay behind him.
Then her worsening difficulty breathing forced her to leave the Demon Slayer Corps.
The forest where they first met became a cherished dream she did not dare look back on.
Years later, they reunited on the path through that same forest. She saw the colors of her old haori overlapping with one half of his. It turned out that from the very beginning, they were meant to be part of each other’s lives.
P.S. The heroine is intended to be Giyu’s ordinary, background-character wife.
Original heroine paired with Giyu. Fans of this pairing, please proceed with caution.
Apologies for the out-of-character portrayals. I wrote this for fun, so please don’t take it seriously. Don’t take it seriously.
