Huangwei: Guardian of National Treasures

When the dust of history settles, an ancient legacy awakens in the darkness.

Chen Haifeng is an archaeology graduate student whose talents have gone unrecognized and whose life is in dire straits. He thought he was destined to sink into mediocrity, until an accident awakened the “Huangwei” mark on his left wrist, long mistaken for an old scar, and granted him the mysterious power of an “Astral Seer.” He can sense the breath of artifacts, read the marks left by time, and see through illusion and disguise.

A “marriage of convenience” brings Xiao Zhuoya into his life, a brilliant and decisive woman from a family of antique dealers. At first, they each seek only what they need. But through repeated brushes with death and the mysteries surrounding national treasures, they forge an unbreakable bond of love and trust. Together, they must protect not only Yongbaozhai, the family business built over a century, but also stand against a vast organization shrouded in mystery: “Star Pivot.”

Star Pivot's reach extends across the globe. It pursues forbidden powers lost to the currents of history, covets national treasures through the sinister art of “Erosion Script,” and plots to overturn the established order. From the undercurrents of the antique market to perilous archaeological sites and thrilling international auctions, a battle unfolds quietly on the boundary between reality and the supernatural.

With the steadfast help of his close friend Lin Yuhai and the guidance of eminent archaeology scholars, Chen Haifeng gradually uncovers the thousand-year-old mission of the Huangwei. He must grow quickly, moving from passively bearing the burden to actively shouldering the responsibility of protecting national treasures and safeguarding the continuity of civilization.

This is more than a legend of treasure appraisal, supernatural powers, and adventure. It is also the story of an ordinary person awakening, growing, and finding redemption. When the ancient stars shine once more, he must step forward.
