Fish Idle Detective Agency

Wang Yuxian, owner of the Fishy Detective Agency in the old district, is known as Brother Xian. He has no fancy high-tech gear and gets by on nothing but his street smarts.

A case involving the theft of a solid-gold lucky cat worth a hundred thousand yuan lands on his doorstep. What looks like a major crime turns out to involve a stingy businessman hoping to drum up publicity by staging a cat theft, a bungling thief who got scratched when his attempt to steal the cat failed, and a meddlesome neighborhood committee auntie.

Amid all the chaos and comic misunderstandings, Brother Xian uncovers the truth behind this “theft” in the most down-to-earth way possible.
