In Rain City, memories can be pruned and deleted just like data. Lin Mo is a top memory trimmer. He numbly removes pain for his clients, but his own past is blank. When he received a mysterious commission to deal with a ghost memory that belonged to no one, he was drawn into a huge whirlpool. The disaster scene flashed in the memory fragments and the woman's vague smile made him feel inexplicably palpitating.
