The Moment I Saw That French Manicure, I Knew the Marriage Had to End

At my daughter's eighth birthday party, my ex-husband's casual remark, “That French almond manicure looks nice,” shattered my ten-year marriage.

His perfume smelled different. The receptionist's nails were exactly like the ones he'd described, and the drunken “An'an” he murmured became a thorn in my heart.

The night our daughter ran a high fever, he was busy being sweet with his mistress while I rushed our child to the hospital alone. The last shred of affection between us burned away.

I found a lawyer, hid the evidence, and returned to work. My best friend stood by me, and my old classmate's studio became my battleground.

His mistress came to my door to cause trouble? I went live on camera and watched the cheating pair tear each other apart as their reputations collapsed and the company went bankrupt.

The day the court granted our divorce, I took my daughter and half the family assets. I won't look back on those ten years. I'll only keep moving forward!
