Fireworks and Vows in Dream City

A new beginning.

Sigh... I hope more people will read this one...

Worldbuilding (Dream City)

This is a parallel modern world inhabited by beastmen. Its technology and culture are highly advanced, but its underlying rules are unique:

1. Bloodlines and class: Ancient beastman bloodlines hold supernatural powers, but the order of modern society suppresses their manifestation. This has created a class divide between the old-bloodline nobility and the new spirit-essence conglomerates.

2. Spirit-essence network: The core technology of society, built from the mental energy of all beastmen. It is both an information network and a repository of emotions and secrets.

3. The worlds above and below: Beneath the glittering modern city lies an “underworld” run on supernatural abilities, bloodline secrets, and under-the-table dealings.

Some of the main professions:

· Cleaners: Private problem-solvers who operate in the gray areas and handle supernatural incidents the authorities would rather not get involved in. ·Spirit-essence hackers: Experts who can deeply manipulate the spirit-essence network. ·Purge squads: Officially established units responsible for controlling and suppressing supernatural abilities.
