In a dim room, Su Yao and Lin Yue sat on the sofa watching a horror movie. Suddenly, the static on the TV screen began flickering wildly, followed by a sharp, grating electric buzz that filled the room. Su Yao and Lin Yue clapped their hands over their ears in terror. Before they could react, a blinding flash of white light burst from the TV and swallowed them whole.
When the two women regained consciousness, they found themselves in a sinister maze. Its walls were built of cold stone, overgrown with green moss and giving off a pungent, rotten stench. Above them stretched a pitch-black sky without stars or moon. A few dim lanterns swayed in the breeze, casting an eerie glow.
“Where are we? How did we get here?” Lin Yue clutched Su Yao’s arm, her voice trembling.
Su Yao took a deep breath, struggling to calm herself. “I don’t know either, but we have to figure out how to get out of here first.”
Just then, a cold, mechanical voice rang in their ears. “Welcome to the world of the death game. You must survive this endless Rule Horror. Clear each stage and you’ll have a chance to leave. But break even one rule, and death is all that awaits you. Now, receive the rules for the first stage.”
