The Beloved Daughter and the Imperial Uncle

This novel follows Xue Qingyin, who transmigrates into a book as a cannon-fodder supporting female character. She abandons her lovesick nature, decisively rejects the original male lead, and turns instead to winning over He Junting, her cold and heartless imperial uncle. She only meant to use his influence to stay alive, but unexpectedly became the apple of his eye. The two join forces to take revenge and proceed cautiously at every turn, ultimately ascending the thrones of emperor and empress and changing the original story's ending, in which both died, into a happy one where they choose each other.
