(The story contains some Lovecraftian elements.)
Lu Song, a clumsy Dark Souls player with 5,000 hours in the game, transmigrates into the world of Dark Souls 1 and becomes Hidetaka Miyazaki, his "best friend," whom he has never actually met.
Damn it! I'd be better off dead than transmigrating to this godforsaken place!
At the very start of his transmigration, he meets the Chosen Undead in the hellhole known as Blighttown. The undead king drops from the sky and slays Quelaag, the Blighttown boss threatening Lu Song's life!
He's disgusting, of course, with countless black-framed eyes like maggots dropping from Quelaag's domain, and a grinning middle-aged man at the corner of his mouth. But he's in danger, so I have to save him.
The two join forces, link the flame, and wreak havoc in Dark Souls 1.
Damn it! Why am I an item?! Lu Song roars. He discovers that he is a buff item called "Hidetaka Miyazaki's Malice." It boosts every stat, but there's a catch: its weight is based on his impressively heavy body!
In the cruel world of Dark Souls, there's absolutely no place for an item to survive!
Like hell there isn't! Lu Song vanishes in an instant, dodging a blow. Just before the attack lands, he equips himself onto the enemy. Take this! Seventy kilograms of solid gold weight, all yours!
No good, huh? Heh. Lu Song cuts off both legs to reduce his weight, equips himself onto the undead, and carefully adjusts his weight right to the limit.
Feel this! Lu Song spreads his arms, clings to the undead, and hangs from his body. The massive buff makes the undead glow from head to toe!
Become my Lord of Cinder! Lu Song shouts.
