Taking in a dying high-ranking demon to recover at his home; feeding a demon saintess who has fainted from hunger three meals a day;
Dealing with an elf mage who refuses to leave the dinner table and even threatens to kill him; pondering the age-old question, "How can demons and humans coexist?"
When the hero's party arrives after hearing the news, this once-defeated king simply steps down from his throne and politely asks:
"Esteemed hero, you dashing, charming, kindhearted gentleman, what would you like to drink today?"
No one knows the secret behind his choosing to surrender.
