Xu Lin, an orphan from Qingyang City, swore to defy heaven and bring his beloved A Li back to life after she died protecting him. Guided by Mo Chengyuan, a renowned master of demonic cultivation, he embarked on the nine realms of martial cultivation, uniting the powers of Daoists, Buddhists, and wandering cultivators to establish the Demon-Devouring Mountain faction. Facing the devouring threat of extraterrestrial demons, the schemes of the imperial court, and the suspicions of the martial world, he made protection his guiding principle. Leading the Eight Pillars of Demon-Devouring and the Four Great Divine Demons of Heaven and Earth, he defended Blackwind Pass. With the power of a single resolve, he ultimately shook the continent's fate, united the world's factions against the demons, and protected countless millions of people.
