After a bizarre trip through a toilet, ordinary young man Wang Tiedan transmigrates to a magical world where “life energy” reigns supreme. The orc tribes here take pride in cultivating life energy and protecting their people. But the moment Wang Tiedan arrives, his life energy reading is zero, earning him the label of a good-for-nothing. The elder even declares that if he cannot awaken his life energy within three days, he will be cast out of the tribe.
With nowhere else to turn, Wang Tiedan finds an old ring covered in verdigris in the tribe’s garbage heap. The instant he puts it on, a warm current sweeps through his body, drawing out the stagnant, foul energy within him. Then, during a life-energy test, the testing stone erupts in a rainbow glow unseen for a thousand years. He turns out to be a legendary “Saint-tier Life Energy Adept”!
From then on, Wang Tiedan’s fate is completely transformed. The elder’s attitude changes 180 degrees, and he presents the ancestral Secret Manual of Life Energy Protection with both hands. The tribespeople who once mocked Wang Tiedan now regard him with awe. But the road to a comeback is no smooth path: he misreads a spell from the manual and makes a fool of himself, barely wins a tribal martial arts competition thanks to the ring, and faces the danger of poisonous miasma while venturing into the “Mistbound Spirit Forest.”
As his life energy grows stronger, Wang Tiedan leaves the orc tribe, meets a fallen royal descendant and a magical prodigy who can read ancient script, and forms an adventuring party dedicated to protection. Together, they seek clues to the ruins of the God of Life, fight sand bandits who plunder life energy, and compete in the continent’s life-energy tournament, rising from dark horses to champions.
When the “Tide of Chaos,” a threat to the entire continent, arrives, Wang Tiedan follows the guidance of the “God of Life’s” remnant soul sleeping inside the ring. He combines the inheritance, gathers the life energy of every race, and joins forces with his companions to defeat the core of chaos
