The Mad Crown Prince Has Dropped the Act

Shen Qingyin was an unfavored concubine-born daughter of the Shen family, used as a pawn in a substitute marriage and sent away to marry for a political alliance.

But the bridal sedan was sent to the wrong place, and she was delivered to the enemy kingdom's imperial palace, where she was immediately betrothed to the disgraced Crown Prince, a man rumored to be mad and useless, who had spent years confined to the Cold Palace.

Everyone laughed at her ill fate, saying she had married a madman and would spend her whole life a widow in all but name.

But no one knew that on their wedding night, the supposedly mad Crown Prince's eyes turned icy, his voice sharp as a blade:

“I feigned madness for seven years, all for the sake of revenge today. Since you've stumbled into this game, I will make you my pawn, or my accomplice.”

Was she a discarded girl at the mercy of others? No. As a cast-off pawn, she would turn the whole board upside down!

One mistaken marriage brings them together, and side by side they fight their way through a storm of blood and blades.

When the truth is revealed, who will prove to be the fiercest, steadiest trump card in a world on the brink of collapse?

A mad Crown Prince and a concubine-born daughter sent as a substitute bride stir up the world. Who will claim the winning move?
