Film and TV: Silent Steps in 1956

In 1956, Chen Mo returned from the future and was parachuted into the Jingshi City Public Security Bureau, where he took charge of Special Public Security Affairs. His chessboard stretched across the sweeping tides of the era. His opponents were the deeply entrenched rot of officialdom and the fog of history. His platform was the Jingshi City Public Security Bureau. While the people in the courtyard were still squabbling over trivial matters, his plans already covered the entire capital. He used a single case to uncover the whole economic system, formed a task force, and became its executive deputy head. By then, he was no longer the head of the Special Industries Management Division. He was a man wielding imperial authority, bringing together the police forces of the entire city to strike at every sector. Chen Mo intended to be the one moving the pieces. When the torrents of history came surging in, everyone would be stunned to realize that the seemingly mild-mannered young division chief had long since reached the crest of the waves.
