A corpse of a businessman poisoned by a strange poison was found under the Hongqiao, holding half of a mutton-fat jade pendant in his hand. The deceased was identified as Jiangnan tea merchant Liu Wanshan. The other half of the jade pendant actually appeared at a banquet hosted by Cai You, the son of Prime Minister Cai Jing.
