After I Checked Out, the Whole Internet Begged Me to Come Back

Lin Zhixia was a B-list star, nicknamed "the entertainment industry's ice machine."

The day the entire internet turned against her, she tossed out a termination notice: "I'm done. Bye."

The haters celebrated: "She's washed up!"

Three months later.

A song she released at her own expense topped every major chart.

A variety show she filmed on a whim became a ratings sensation.

Her performance as the third female lead made the main heroine look like a block of wood.

The former company's boss came to see her in person: "Come back. Name your terms."

Lin Zhixia leaned against the doorframe and yawned.

"Sorry, my schedule's full until next year. Why don't you take a number?"

The haters stayed up all night editing their comments:

"Sis, I was wrong. Keep being the ice queen. I love watching you."
