Me: Cheat Manual: Investing in the Chosen One from the Start

An ancient, dark-minded book that can’t be opened or torn, and has a sharp tongue to boot.

Survival comes first. Restoring itself is the ultimate goal.

And so the Black Book begins its career as an “investor”:

“Little girl, you’ve got an extraordinary build. I happen to have a… Uh, I mean, I am the peerless secret manual! Ten low-grade spirit stones, and I’ll guarantee you break through your bottleneck!”

“A genius? Geniuses need to spend money too! This deal is a bargain. Remember to pay in advance next time you advance!”

“What? A powerful enemy is after you? Pay extra! This mighty one will work out an invincible movement technique for you on the spot!”

Starting with the troubles of a cool, gifted young woman from the outer sect of the Azure Cloud Sect, he gradually “invests” in her until she becomes an invincible empress who sweeps across the eight wastelands.

Along the way, he also saves up enough for his “modest little goal” of rebuilding his body and returning to his peak.

“Remember, when this mighty one acts, I don’t hold back. But when I do… it costs extra!”
