Journey to the West: Sun Wukong Has Seen the Show and Refuses to Go on the Pilgrimage

After seeing the show, Sun Wukong undergoes a complete change of temperament. He keeps a low profile, grows stronger, becomes the Chaos Demon Ape, and changes the course of fate. He taunts the Tathagata and captures the Tathagata's uncle, the Golden-Winged Great Peng. The Golden-Winged Great Peng wreaks havoc in Heaven, only to be taken by Taishang Laojun and refined into pills. This book incorporates elements from the Primordial Era and old Investiture of the Gods stories. From the start, he fuses four divine weapons and the four essences of the Chaos Demon Ape, becoming a Primordial Daluo Golden Immortal. He seeks the Four Swords of Zhu Xian and makes his preparations, vying for worshippers' offerings. He refuses to become Bimawen, refuses to wreak Havoc in Heaven, refuses to be imprisoned for five hundred years, refuses to go on the pilgrimage for scriptures, and refuses to be anyone's pawn. Does Tang Sanzang really think that a few sacred scriptures can save all living beings and relieve the world's suffering? How naive. Shi Yu (Sun Wukong) is done playing Heaven's game. He'll take a few junior disciples and keep a low profile as he grows stronger, compete for worshippers' offerings, eat immortal pills and fruit, and live a carefree, happy life.
