Imprisoned by Love

[Two male leads + unhinged obsessive love + confinement + ruthless possession + angsty pursuit of a wife]

Unhinged, rich, powerful, handsome top × beautiful, heartbroken bottom

Gu Huai is the ruler of City A. He understands love but doesn't know how to love, and he won't admit to being in love easily.

Si Yuan belongs to a dangerous organization where death is always close at hand. He has someone he loves deeply, but the lovers are destined to be apart. During his final mission, Gu Huai kills Si Yuan's lover right in front of him. That is also when Gu Huai becomes “interested” in Si Yuan!

Heartbroken by the loss of his lover, Si Yuan can't bring himself to die. In the end, Gu Huai finds him, takes him back, and imprisons him for five years.

Five years later, Si Yuan meets someone who treats him “well” and feels a “familiarity” deep in his heart: Xie Linci. Later, Gu Huai has surgery performed on Si Yuan to make him fall in love with him again.

He remembers nothing. When he's reunited with his “lover,” he doesn't recognize him at all. Due to a misunderstanding, he witnesses his lover's wedding to someone else.

Gu Huai begins his pursuit, learning to cook, raise kids, and all that. Don't ask! The answer is that he still hasn't won him over!

I've finished writing this and can't be bothered to update the synopsis, so that'll do.

The first time they met:

“Go die! Just die!”

More than ten years later:

“Gu Huai, stop avoiding me.”

“Let's... give this a try.”
