I Transmigrated Into Journey to the West as a Little Demon

Mo Ran smiled teasingly. “Marshal, perhaps there’ll be a pleasant surprise. After all, calling the Old Mother of Mount Li ‘Mother’ wasn’t for nothing.”

Mo Ran clearly remembered that Buddha eventually bestowed on Marshal Tianpeng the title of Messenger of the Altar-Cleansing.

“Altar-Cleansing” might have been Buddha’s little joke, but “Messenger” carried real weight.

A messenger personally appointed by the Tathagata: it was like receiving the Tathagata’s imperial sword, granting him authority over the distribution of resources across the Four Great Continents.

What’s more, the Tathagata had promised that all the resources left over after distribution would belong to him.

It wasn’t just a position of real power, it was a plum job.
