This story follows the ten lifetimes of love between the silver fox A Li and the ink snake Xuan. The Heavenly Dao keeps them apart time and again through the cycles of reincarnation, but their bond always brings them back together. In their tenth life, their memories awaken, and together with their companions, they rise up against the old Heavenly Dao. Xuan transforms into a dragon and becomes the new Heavenly Dao, breaking the rigid rules and helping create a flourishing age in which all beings can live freely together.
