[Emotionally repressed, pretending-to-be-tough top × gentle, resilient, protective bottom]
[Modern urban life + male/male romance + rekindled love + bittersweet angst + happy ending]
Ten years ago, Gu Ci'an drove Xu Muyan away in the most hurtful way possible, every word cutting deep.
Xu Muyan disappeared from his world, leaving behind one last message: "Gu Ci'an, I hope the universe expands faster than I can forget you."
Ten years later, Gu Ci'an is a rising star in the investment world, while Xu Muyan runs Xingchen, a niche artsy brand.
The two unexpectedly meet again during a crucial investment negotiation.
Gu Ci'an is the decision-maker assessing the value of Xu Muyan's brand, while Xu Muyan is the business partner seeking his financial backing.
At the negotiating table, Gu Ci'an keeps things strictly professional: "Wherever we may stay, in the end, we'll share the same starry sky." It sounds like nothing more than an ordinary business remark.
Xu Muyan smiles in response, but silently finishes the rest of what Gu Ci'an said ten years ago: "The universe is expanding at incredible speed every moment, and so is my love for you."
This reunion, ten years overdue, is tangled up in business interests, the truth behind old misunderstandings, and a love that never died. Between two adults who are no longer anything like they once were, a new chapter slowly begins.
