[Glazed Brilliance, A Comeback Through Blood and Fire]
Overnight, his family is destroyed and his loved ones are gone!
His father is shot dead outside the kiln, and a century-old furnace is burned to ash. Sixteen-year-old Lu Shouyuan clutches his family’s secret manual, carries his mother as she coughs up blood, and leads his four-year-old sister through a snowy night as they flee the chaos of the Republican era.
Hauling cargo at the docks wears his shoulders raw, and the cold rain seeps through the roof of their ramshackle shelter. His enemies live it up in town, while he can’t even scrape together the money for his mother’s medicine.
In his darkest hour, he opens the bloodstained Glazed Glass formula and starts out as the humblest apprentice at a foreign trading house. He protects his craft amid gunfire and smoke, carving out a path through the chaos with blood and sweat.
Years later, a gilded invitation to the international exhibition in Paris bears his name. The boy who once scavenged leftovers on the road to escape famine has finally made the brilliance of Chinese glass shine in every corner of the world!
The cover is very nice and the title of the book is also very attractive, so I thought I would give it a try. Unexpectedly, I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it~ The storyline is compact and the content is fascinating. It is my favorite genre. Please hurry up and update it. I really want to read it in one go 😄😄
