On the day of her high school graduation, Su Wan encounters Lu Shiyan, a transfer student being hunted by his illegitimate older brother. The two are caught in a car accident and unexpectedly reborn as first-year students. Determined to change the tragedy, Su Wan takes the initiative to get close to the aloof, handsome top student, who hides his wealthy family background. Lu Shiyan excels not only in his studies, but also at basketball and taekwondo.

From exchanging anonymous messages through the library windows, to unexpectedly working together at the welcome party, to volunteering during the holidays and looking out for each other on a stormy outing, their feelings gradually grow. Su Wan confesses that she was reborn, while Lu Shiyan tells her about his family crisis. Together, they vow to stand against his illegitimate older brother, Lu Mingzhe, and set their sights on the finance department of the top university in the capital.

Along the way, they join forces to overcome Zhao Manni's jealous schemes. With the support of their friends, they gather evidence and stop Lu Mingzhe's plot before it can unfold. In the end, both get into their dream university. On a summer night in their graduation season, amid the evening breeze, Lu Shiyan proposes to Su Wan, turning the bond they forged over three years of high school into a promise to face the future together.
