A Slow-Burning Heart

This is a story about an unexpected encounter. Lin Yue, an advertising planner, is pressured by her mother into a blind date, where she unexpectedly reunites with Su Ran, an architect she met once three years earlier. From their awkward first meeting in a summer evening breeze, to a cup of hot cocoa during a late night at work, to unhurried moments at an art museum, these two gentle souls gradually draw closer through a series of chance encounters. There are no dramatic twists, just tenderness hidden in the little things: remembering the old hair tie you lost, knowing you get cold in the air conditioning, and being willing to spend an entire afternoon with you at an exhibition. Their feelings are like tea brewed slowly in warm water: they take a little longer to unfold, but time lets them settle into the most comfortable warmth.
