An Unpredictable Midsummer

Lin Weixi, a physics prodigy who puts reason above all else, meets Chen Chi, a poetic, sensitive boy who loves literature. She is used to measuring the world with formulas, but he helps her understand the true meaning of the uncertainty principle: some things become harder to define the closer you get to them.

When everyone thinks Chen Chi is the one who needs protecting, only Lin Weixi knows that she is the one who needs him. She needs the starry sky in his eyes, and the variable he fills in her perfect equation.

“Your worth should not be defined by others.” She holds out her hand to him, not as a request, but as a declaration. This is a story about protecting and depending on one another, about finding a quantum entanglement that belongs only to them amid certainty and uncertainty.

This is a fictional setting, not our world. The school called a high school here is actually a university, not a high school.

A story about friendship.
