The sky was no longer the familiar blue, but was shrouded in a strange dark red, like coagulated blood. There was a faint smell of rust and a hint of fishy smell in the air. Black smoke billowed from the teaching building in the distance, and the tops of several tall buildings had collapsed, exposing the steel and concrete, like the skeletons of dead giant beasts.
What's even scarier is that something out of this world appears on the streets.
It was a monster about two meters tall. It looked like a mantis magnified countless times, but its whole body was covered with a dark purple carapace, and its sickle-shaped forelimbs shone with a metallic cold light. It was scanning the panicked and fleeing crowd with its compound eyes, and then pounced on them.
