To save the Three Realms, Ji Fuyuan sacrificed his divine body to the Abyss, scattering his remnant soul across the Nine Heavens.

To help him rebuild his divine body, she gave up her immortal form and guarded his reincarnation through ten lifetimes as a mortal. At last, after the long passage of time, she was reunited with him, whole once more.
