On the Skyvault Continent, all races can cultivate.
Only the human race is despised by the other races and treated as an outcast.
Xia Ji, a young succubus from Luochuan City, had planned to spend an ordinary life tending her little tavern. But an unexpected upheaval left her parents missing, forcing her to leave home with a mysterious, disheveled old man who carried a huge black sword.
Along the way, they met Yujing, a beastkin boy from an unknown world, and Wang Wu, a former city guard who unexpectedly joined their group.
Xia Ji and Yujing had only wanted to rescue their parents, but as their journey unfolded, they gradually discovered that the secret behind why humans cannot cultivate, the truth deliberately kept hidden, and the forgotten history of the Skyvault Continent were all intricately connected to them.
Not bad. I hope you don't jump later.
