Heavenly Dao Maintenance Notes

Chen Yan is a graduate student in history who accidentally binds himself to a System. He rejects the idea of "defying fate to become a big shot" and just wants to "slack off, fix bugs, and earn points to trade for graduate-school exam materials." The antagonist, "Chaos Patch," is not purely evil. It is actually the lingering consciousness of the original system administrator, trying to overthrow the "tyranny of the Heavenly Dao program" and grant all living beings free will. Its controversial stance runs throughout the story.
