[Farming + Imperial Examinations + Face-Slapping Payoff + Comeback]
Zhou Yi, a modern-day academic prodigy, transmigrates into the Great Yong dynasty as the son of a peasant family so poor they can barely afford pants.
His father is still the same lazy, gluttonous, lame man from his previous life.
His mother is still the same hard-working, fiery woman from his previous life.
Only he has been reborn with his memories intact. Since life is just as poor as before, he plans to use his knowledge of the future to build a fortune and throw himself into the grind.
He is determined to pass the imperial examinations, but his whole family opposes him because he was born with a stutter in this life.
A stutter is no big deal.
If the doctor is afraid to operate, he will do it himself.
At school, the Zhou family members say, “That Zhou Yi is ruthless! He’s hard on others, and even harder on himself!”
He pushes his useless cousin to the brink of despair.
He pushes the top three candidates in the prefectural exam so hard that one vomits blood right there in the hall.
Just like that, Zhou Yi grinds his way to the palace examination and accidentally snatches the top scholar title that the chief minister had already picked for someone else. He steps into the whirlpool of court politics and sets out on the path of an upright official.
Faced with a weakening emperor and powerful ministers locked in bitter rivalries, Zhou Yi says, “Piece of cake~”
If they won't let him live in peace, then he'll flip the table for good!
I liked the part about the war in Liangzhou. I was listening to the book while working, but when I heard that part, I picked up my phone and watched it intently. I felt that the imperial examination part was written quite naturally, and it would be less awkward to read those verses than when writing poems. I feel that the ending is so sudden. I am still looking forward to what it will be like when Zhou Yi enters the court. I feel that there is still a lot to write about. When I didn't click on the author's homepage, I thought it was because there weren't enough people to read it, so I ended it in a hurry. After I clicked on it… Which platform is this author from? I really liked the part about the war in Liangzhou [full]
It's very interesting. It's the most uncomfortable imperial examination essay I've ever read so far, but it's also the most realistic (and please don't cp, I hope the junior sister and Zhou Yi don't become a couple)
It's well written, clearly organized, and occasionally funny, so it's worth reading.
The author's literary talent is really great.
The plot design is very good
A pretty good novel.
The author has produced a very fine work, the characters are very fleshed out and the plot is also very good.
It's so beautifully written. I like this kind of novel and give it a five-star rating.
It looks good. The scientific examination is written very carefully. The writing style is good. It is my favorite style. Please update it 😄😄😄
The article is humorous and interesting, and the concept is fresh and very good
