Li Tianyu is a passionate fan of survival games, especially games about surviving against the odds. As usual, he is looking for recommendations for games similar to his favorites when he spots a link in a QQ group for Left 4 Dead: Steel Train. He opens the link and downloads an app to his phone. Its icon shows a railcar at the center, framed by a blood-red border. No matter how hard he tries, he can't get the app to open. Suddenly, a force seems to pull his soul from his body. Li Tianyu grows unbearably sleepy, then finally passes out. When he wakes, he finds himself inside the game world: he really has arrived aboard an old, battered train, whose windows are fitted with four mounted crossbow launchers... Bloodstains mottle the mechanisms...
