Evolution Out of Place

Rust brought human civilization to an end when visitors from beyond the stars arrived. Our missiles would turn against us, and our mechs would switch sides. In the depths of despair, I, a former communications soldier who crawled out of the ruins, was appointed commander of a special squad. My team members aren't human. They're ultimate weapons with human hearts and dinosaur souls: the Xiren. They're afraid of the dark, love looking pretty, and bicker among themselves. But when the mechanical tide swallowed the world, they opened their Jurassic eyes. My order was: “Use their own rules to tear them apart!”

This is my first work... It may not be very good... I hope you'll be kind to me...
