[Campus life + mutual redemption + wish fulfillment]
On Lu Jingran's first day at his new school, he meets a bizarre desk mate who is always late and sleeps through class.
He assumes his strange desk mate is a delinquent who never studies. To his surprise, she's both an athletic powerhouse and a top student.
“Hey, desk mate, can you help me with this problem?”
“Hey, desk mate, lend me fifteen hundred and help me out?”
“Hey, desk mate...”
Lu Jingran turns into a clingy puppy, acting aloof with his classmates but bowing and scraping to his desk mate.

On the first day of the new school year, Shen Nian gets mocked for being late. In the south, even a girl who's 170 centimeters tall gets called “shorty.” She and the new transfer student are already off to a bad start!
But the new transfer student seems like a pretty nice guy. When she falls asleep in class, he blocks the sunlight for her; when she's late to school, he keeps watch for her.
Not many people have been kind to her since she was little, but luck finally finds her at seventeen.
For her eighteenth birthday, Shen Nian wishes that Lu Jingran will be kind to her for the rest of his life.
