The year An Yiruo was taken in by the Zhan family, she was fourteen and Zhan Huaichuan was twenty-two. To be precise, her fate had taken three disastrous turns in a single week, leaving her wishing she were dead.
Her father had been sent to prison when she was little, and her mother had died of an illness. Wanting her to grow up in a good home, her mother entrusted her, in her final moments, to her childhood friend, Zhan Jingshan, CEO of the Hua Du Zhan Corporation.
Her mother had hoped that because An Yinuo and Zhan Jingshan had known each other since childhood, and because of the Zhan family's status and influence, An Yinuo would at least have a place to call home.
But on the way to bring her back, Zhan Jingshan and his wife, Liang Yunfang, were involved in a car accident.
In the instant of the crash, Liang Yunfang shielded her with her own body.
Zhan Huaichuan leaned against the hospital room and read the news on his phone:
“Zhan Corporation CEO risks his life for the orphan of an old flame, leaving his own son without both parents.”
“What lies ahead for the Zhan Group? Can the young heir shoulder the burden?”
…
His parents had lost their lives because of her.
His father had said with his dying breath, “Don't abandon her.”
His grandfather had said, “You were entrusted with her life. You have to take care of her.”
Zhan Huaichuan stared at the lifeless figure in the corner, his gaze as sharp as a blade. He slammed his fist into the wall.
Blood dripped from his pale fingertips. He gave a hoarse, cold laugh. “From now on, you're my responsibility, and my enemy to hate!”
Awesome👍🏻I haven't read such a good book in a long time
The plot is real and vivid, the female protagonist has a touch of sadness, and the male protagonist's character is relatively dull. It would have been nice to have less voice-over language.
Really like my old father
Very good, worth watching
It's very beautiful and the characters are well set.
Very good, they are all inspirational people and things, turning grief into strength to achieve good results.
It looks good, the writing is delicate and vivid, there is no unnecessary plot, but the ending feels a bit too fast.
Looks good but a bit short
