Showbiz: Yang Mi Kissed Me, but I Just Want to Retire

Good news: I transmigrated and got bound to a System.

Bad news: I just want to be a lazy slacker, but my System is a workaholic!

It promised to give me an island to retire on if I doubled the market value of Yang Mi's company.

I actually fell for it.

To help Yang Mi deal with her ex, I was forced to write a song.

The song became a hit, and Yang Mi started trying to seduce me every day. My retirement plan: minus one.

To boost the company's value faster, I was forced to offer a little stock market advice.

I made a killing and became a stock market guru. Yang Mi was even less willing to let me go. My retirement plan: minus two.

To finish my task faster, I was forced to write and star in a TV series.

The show became a sensation, and the female lead, Zhao Liying, started looking at me with heart eyes too. My retirement plan: minus three.

To add a few more bricks to my island, I specially set up a studio to make money.

I ended up signing Bai Lu, who now keeps asking when I'll take her on Keep Running. My retirement plan: minus four.

Me, breaking down: “I really just want to retire!”

Yang Mi, raising an eyebrow: “You can retire, but I'm coming to the island.”

Zhao Liying, smiling: “Wherever Zhiyao is, that's where I'll be.”

Bai Lu, glaring: “Me too! Wherever the boss goes, I'm going!”

Everyone: “Seriously, he's almost the godfather of showbiz. Why is he still hung up on that lousy island?!”
