Night shift driver Lin Chen was involved in a fatal system called "Infinite Corridor" in a bizarre midnight bus accident. The bronze key contains the same facial pattern as his own, and the "Corridor" organization that controls all of this is collecting some kind of weird genetic sequence through cross-world disasters.
