Lin Mo, an overworked employee undergoing chemotherapy, awakens a pocket dimension. Guided by warnings from his spiritual plants, he transmigrates into worlds like Dream of the Red Chamber and Water Margin, saving ten immortal disciples, including Daiyu and Lin Chong. He teaches them using the logic of an overworked office worker: showing Daiyu how to use her tears to break free from the shackles of social convention, and teaching Lin Chong to fight the oppression of the powerful with his spear. With a steady approach of “identify the pain points, then list the solutions,” he helps his disciples take the first steps toward changing their fates.
From Wang Shanbao's wife, a low-level villain, to the high-level Lord of Chaos, master and disciples join forces to defeat baleful energy born of rumors and conflict. Red Boy melts away hostility with fire, while Zhao Yun protects the people with his spear, as the immortal disciples team up across worlds. The pocket dimension grows from a studio into a small world, Lin Mo's stomach pains gradually heal, and during his tribulation, he sacrifices his overworked self's obsession with “being afraid of making mistakes” to forge a new Dao body.
In the final battle, Lin Mo uses a review of how he changed his fate to break through an illusion of despair, while the disciples use their perfected techniques to purify the baleful energy. In the end, he erects a monument to the methodology of changing one's fate and opens a healing center for overworked employees, helping those across the Myriad Worlds still haunted by unresolved regrets. Beneath the symbiotic tree, the office worker once trapped by KPIs finally becomes a mentor who helps the Myriad Worlds change their fates and protects all living beings.
