This Little Daoist Has Come Down from the Mountain

A damaged Daoist scripture, a mysterious jade pendant, and a young man who came down from the mountains. He steps into a world that has long since fallen apart.

Li Qinghe descended the mountain at his master’s command, thinking this was just an ordinary cultivation journey into the mortal world. But at his very first stop, he stumbled upon a demonic cultivator’s scheme to offer a blood sacrifice. A casual sword strike sent the demonic cultivator fleeing, but the jade pendant in his arms suddenly grew hot, and his master’s weathered, solemn voice rang in his mind:

“Disciple, you have touched the first secret of this world:

The Four Pillars had already collapsed long ago...”

From that moment on, the peaceful illusion of cultivation peeled away before his eyes, layer by layer.

Qi Refining, Foundation Establishment, Golden Core... Beyond the cultivation stages passed down since time immemorial lay nothing but ruins. The pillars of heaven and earth, guarded since ancient times, had inexplicably crumbled. Spiritual energy was quietly changing, demonic shadows stirred beneath the ruins, and the so-called path to ascension might have led to a dead end long ago.

Bearing a mysterious jade pendant that might be connected to the origin of the pillars, Li Qinghe was forced into a maelstrom that would determine the world’s survival.

The road ahead was an abyss, and there was no untainted land behind him.

All he could do was grip the wooden sword in his hand and seek a chance to survive amid the ruins.

Along the way, his fate would also intertwine with that of seven peerless women:

A reserved sword immortal, a seductive demon sect woman, an imperial princess, a shaman from the southern borderlands, a young master of the demon clan, a successor to the secrets of heaven, and his childhood sweetheart... They were ties to the mortal world, and companions on the Great Dao.
