One Piece: The Origami Artist Vice Captain

One day, Luo Ya wakes up to find that he has transmigrated to Foosha Village in the world of One Piece, a year before Luffy sets sail.

He had planned to quietly make a fortune using his knowledge of the story, but by a twist of fate, he ate the seemingly good-for-nothing Paper-Paper Fruit.

Staring at the fragile sheet of white paper in his hand, which tore with the slightest tug, Luo Ya despaired. “How am I supposed to fight monsters with Logia powers using this thing?”

To make ends meet, he returned to the craft he had practiced in his previous life and became the only origami artist in Foosha Village, folding little trinkets to amuse the future Pirate King.

Then, on a moonlit night, the first paper crane he had painstakingly folded gently flapped its wings in his palm...

“Pff!”

Its wingtip swept past, leaving a perfectly smooth, bottomless gash in the hard rock wall.

Looking at the paper crane that had sliced through stone, Luo Ya finally understood. “So... the ultimate power of paper is to cut through anything.”

By the time Luffy finally shouted, “Set sail!”, Luo Ya, standing at his side, had already turned origami into a terrifying art all his own.

East Blue scoundrels? Thousands of paper swords hover in the air, raining down! Surrounded by powerful foes? With a wave of his hand, a sea of paper surges forth, transforming into a thousand-meter-tall giant warrior! A Marine Admiral? Sorry, my six hundred billion explosive tags are just getting warmed up!

“Luffy is the man who will become the Pirate King.” Luo Ya adjusted his straw hat and smiled. “And my job is to ‘fold’ every obstacle standing in his way.”

This is the passionate adventure of an origami artist who uses wisdom and perseverance to develop the weakest ability to its peak, support his captain, and shake the seas!
