In the interstellar era, the earth's resources are exhausted. Agriculturalist Xia He leads a team to build a farm on the space station to cultivate crops adapted to the weightless environment. However, they are blocked by the interstellar consortium (which wants to monopolize synthetic food). They break through technical difficulties and successfully mass-produce food to provide food and clothing for interstellar humans.
