My new work is out! Come read it on Tomato Novel. I hope you enjoy it. Your support is what keeps me writing, and I’ll do my best to tell every story well! After being struck by lightning, Chen Yang awakens the ability to speak with animals, and the poor young man’s life takes off!
Rescue a hare and get silver dollars from the Republic of China era; help a pheasant and earn top-grade wild honey. Even the old dog at the village entrance starts bringing him messages. From then on, every treasure in the mountains is his!
And the beat-up sack his mother left behind turns out to conceal an ancient secret: it can hold a thousand jin of jade, ward off blades, bullets, and traps, and even speak to offer guidance!
The village bully tries to steal his goods? His animal sidekicks swarm in and teach him a lesson! His ex-girlfriend breaks off their engagement, then comes crawling back? Chen Yang sneers, “You looked down on me when all I had was a sack. Now the treasures in it are worth more than you could afford in ten lifetimes!”
From digging up herbs to pay for surgery, to finding jade, exploring ancient tombs, and venturing into dragon lairs, Chen Yang uses his gift for speaking with animals and his miraculous sack to find treasure and grow rich. He tramples rich heirs underfoot, takes on mysterious organizations, and ultimately becomes the wealthiest man in the mountains, shocking the entire country!
“As long as the animals are willing to help, every treasure in the deep mountains is my personal ATM!”
