[Both reborn + a powerful alliance + regent prince + possessive to the extreme + doting on each other + the leads are reborn only to dote on each other + no angst]

After being reborn, Shen Qingmo decides to become the darkest black lotus of them all. Faced with Prince Regent Xiao Jue's "taking her by force," she obediently plays along, while secretly handing him evidence of her enemies' crimes. "A pleasure doing business with you, Your Highness."

He holds her captive in his arms, his gaze deep and intense. "We can work together, but you have to stay by my side."

Everyone fears his ruthless methods, but she alone sees the unease in his eyes. Gently stroking his furrowed brow, she says, "A Jue, don't be afraid. This time, I'm not leaving."

She makes her moves in the inner household, while he wields his sword in the imperial court. Together, they set the world in turmoil.

At a palace banquet, a scoundrel of a man taunts them with a poem. Xiao Jue crushes his wine cup and traps her against the writing desk, his voice hoarse. "Yaoyao, if I ruin him, will you look at me?" She threads her fingers through his and smiles. "A Jue, his disgraceful deeds will be all over the capital tomorrow. And as for me... isn't it enough that I only have eyes for you?"

When every enemy has been wiped out, he holds her close and begs softly, "Yaoyao, I'll offer you the whole world as your bride price. Will you... look at me forever?"
