A Global Foodie Adventure: My Travel Fund System

[Travel + Food + Everyday Life + Easygoing Living + System + Romance + Daily Life]

After the college entrance exams, Ye Xun is left feeling empty and lost. By chance, he activates a travel fund System. With 1,500 yuan in starting funds, he breaks free from his “digital impotence” and sets off for Qujing. On a 12-hour slow train, he meets fellow travelers who share his interests, and they share food and laughter. One morning in Qujing, an 8-yuan bowl of steamed rice noodles, paired with a kind shopkeeper’s warm corn, marks the beginning of a tender encounter with the city.

From the thousand-acre lotus pond in Qilin Water Town and a touching moment beneath a wall of roses, to making traditional pottery in a town steeped in Cuan culture and sampling the bustling street food at Huake Night Market, then galloping across the Huize grasslands and chatting around a campfire beneath the stars, he measures the scenery with his footsteps and welcomes the kindness of strangers with an open heart. Along the way, the System’s “Traveler Index” bears witness to every barrier he breaks through and every insight he gains. Unexpected encounters, challenges, and moments of healing gradually help the lost young man rediscover his passion for life. It turns out life isn’t a track, but an open wilderness without bounds.
