Records of Ghost-Slaying and Demon-Subduing

(Power fantasy), (ghost hunting), (no characters acting stupid), (leveling up), (no System), (nearly invincible), (multiple heroines)

Note: Many of the settings in this story are the author's original adaptations of legends and the like. Please go easy on the criticism.

After the college entrance exams, soon-to-be university student Chen Xuan just wants to enjoy an ordinary summer and save up for a motorcycle. To make quick money, he takes a night shift cleaning graves at a mass burial ground.

His coworkers all say the job is cursed, but Chen Xuan, an atheist, scoffs at them, until one night, when a pale figure drives him into a corner. With his life hanging by a thread, a woman descends like an immortal from the heavens and slays the evil spirit with a single stroke.

Soon afterward, Chen Xuan receives an ancient book titled Records of Slaying Ghosts and Subduing Demons. Only then does he realize that what happened at the burial ground was not the end, but the beginning.
